11:53 I remember getting to this part of the fight and having to pause for a second because I was getting serious Sweeny Todd vibes. I'm feeling a lot from "Epiphany" and the track that plays near the beginning, showing the bleak Victorian London. So I kind of paused the game and turned up the volume because the music gets diminished in the pause menu.

i love this video, though i will say that while i understand his criticising the other planets' themes compared to the gusty garden one makes sense for his overarching point (that the gusty gardens theme is "perfect"), i think that's too simple an answer. the main difference i see between the gusty garden, sky station and cloudy court melodies is that all three serve a different purpose, and therefore play their cards differently. still a brilliant analysis.

That scale that you didn't have a name for sounds exactly like the first scale I learned in Carnatic music: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mayamalavagowla (The name of the scale, or raga, is Mayamalavagowla, and you can sort of see how it would translate when played on a piano in that wiki page) Thought it would pique your interest!

glad I kept my Wii U so I can come back to the Wind Waker HD. I never did and never will appreciate this game as much as Twilight Princess, but it's a still a beloved entry unlike the likes the Skyward Sword or Tears of the Covid-Excuses.

I think Cloudy Court has more variety on purpose. The level being a court means you’ll run into a lot more people or characters, thus the increased variety.
